Thursday Briefs

Three notes:

Kentucky: WTF, I thought that any Democratic candidate would beat Bunning. Well, give it time my friends. Go Conway!!!Ohio: Strictland should stay put as OH-GOV. Fisher should run for and win OH-SEN for us.NRCC: “the Republican Party should be more like the Taliban”. LOL!!! This is why they will suffer a third straight cycle with huge net losses in the House. They simply can’t win with that attitude.

I am also

perterbed by Kentucky. We should beat Bunning running a rock for senate, it wiould be less embaressing. Very disturbing numbers.

It’s VERY early

99% of people, including Kentuckians, don’t follow minute-to-minute politics as closely as we do.  They need to be reminded what a lump Bunning is.  February ’09 isn’t the time for that – the autumn of ’10 is the time for that.  That the incumbent is only up by the margin of error on every possible Democratic opponent before most of them even enter the race is good news.  Be patient.

Chandler and Luallen ain’t runnin’. Luallen is stepping out of the way for Conway, and Chandler is eying KY-GOV in 2011 against unpopular Governor Steve Beshear. Conway and Mongiardo are probably going to be the only Democrats that announce for this seat. Conway wins the Democratic Primary and defeats Senator Jim Bunning(R-KY) 54%-45%.Check out my sites-

Obama’s Approval Numbers Only 47%

I’m confused, considering that Survey USA showed the President’s approval ratings in the Bluegrass State to be 62%.

If it’s Mongiardo vs. Conway…I’m fully behind Conway.  My dream candidate would be Luallen, but I doubt it will happen.  That said, Mongiardo’s anti-gay rhetoric and his support of mountain top removal (I swear, he said he saw it as “oppurtunity” to build mini malls!) makes him too odious to consider.Check out Blue Arkansas:
